He has worked as a Trustee & office-bearer of Suvidya Prasarak Sangh (SPS), a multi-unit & multi-faceted Educational institution of repute in Borivali for about twenty seven years.
During all these years, he has been instrumental in transforming the institution SPS from running School units into providing vocational & professional courses too, including School of Environment and Architecture. Recently, new initiatives of STEM Lab and Sports Academy have been taken to provide avenues for all round development of youth.
He has passion for writing and has written & published a number of books on management of Educational Charitable Trusts as well as on Self-management. His emphasis on raising Emotional & Social Quotient of youth is noteworthy.

Ms. Neha is truly a Youth Icon and an inspiration to the younger generation when it comes to managing sports and education together. Neha’s sports career started very early at the age of 10 years when she completed the National event of crossing the Dharamtar-Gateway of India 33 kms.
At the age of 10years itself she completed the mandatory Basic Course in 10M Air Rifle Shooting which paved her path for State Championship, where she won two Gold medals in the Open State Level and from there on she never looked back.
She chose to pursue her sports Passion of Rifle Shooting against the choice of admission in M.B.B.S and completed her graduation in Biochemistry along with winning all the All India Inter-University championships and once again representing India in World University Games. She has pursued her Masters in Management studies exemplary grades and is now pursuing a PHD.

Shri Thakur has handled several roles in Cricket Sports Management, right from Cricket Manager for CCI Team to Liaison officer for All India Radio for the Test and One Day International Matches organized by Mumbai Cricket Association & World Cup 2011. As a MCA cricket coach he has coached Mumbai teams and several College teams. During his coaching tenure, he has also coached cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Vinod Kambli, Jatin Paranjape, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma and so on.
He was felicitated by D.Y.Patil Sports Academy in recognition & appreciation in the field of Cricket Coaching as the most prominent Cricket Coach for Mumbai from SIR ISAAC VIVIAN ALEXANDER RICHARD in the year 2014.
